Digging Deep is the Proud Winner of 6 National Book Awards

Digging Deep was awarded the 2014 Moonbeam Gold Medal Spirit Award, one of only four winners nationwide chosen for Creativity, Compassion, Imagination or Introspection.  The Spirit Awards are given for dedication to children’s books and literacy and for inspired writing, illustrating and publishing.  Digging Deep won its Spirit Award in Introspection.  “This year’s Moonbeam award winners confirm that books can change children’s lives,” says Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards founder Jerrold Jenkins.

Digging Deep received the IPPY Gold Medal Award from the Independent Publishers Book Award, in the Children’s Interactive Book Category.  The IPPY awards program is an amazingly diverse, world-wide contest with nearly 6000 entries from all 50 United States, the District of Columbia, eight Canadian provinces and 34 other countries around the globe.

Digging Deep was chosen as one of Dr. Toy’s 100 Best Children’s Products of 2015.  For over 30 years, the Dr. Toy brand has symbolized quality educational toys and children’s products.  Digging Deep won in the Top Ten Best Socially Responsible Products category.  For more information, please see the press release here.

Digging Deep has been awarded the Mom’s Choice Award Gold Medal for Young Adult Books in the Mind, Body, Spirit category.  Digging Deep has been named among the best in family-friendly media, products, and services.

Digging Deep was selected as a finalist for the 2014 Eric Hoffer book award.  The Eric Hoffer Award honors the independent spirit of small publishers and has become one of the largest international book awards for small, academic, and independent presses. Less than 10% of nominees become category finalists.

Digging Deep received a Pinnacle Book Achievement Award in the Category of Health.  Each year, for the past 30 years, NABE, the National Association of Book Entrepreneurs, presents awards in the Spring and the Fall for the finest books published by its members.
